Review:  Be Forever Blessed-Not Fallen from Grace

God desires for us to reign over poverty, sin, addictions, broken relationships, sickness and every curse.  But we are to reign because of what Jesus did on the cross, not by our own efforts.  Romans 5:17 says, “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”  Jesus took all of our sin and dead works on the cross.  He gave us His righteousness and favor.  We are blessed not by how “good of a Christian” we are.  We are blessed because Jesus fulfilled every requirement of the law for us.  Religion tells us that we are blessed only if we obey.  2 Cor 1:18-20 tells us that all of the promises of scripture are now and forever “Yes” if you have accepted Christ.  That is such good news!  No matter what, God is blessing you!  A lot of people don’t feel worthy to be blessed.  That is true if it is up to your efforts.  But when God looks at you, He sees the perfection of Jesus!  Rest in the fact that true success comes by knowing that in every situation God is blessing you!  He is not judging you based on how well you obey the Old Testament requirements.  He is blessing us on how well Jesus fulfilled every requirement for us!  That means you and I are forever blessed.

Lastly,   “fallen from grace” does not mean you have sinned.  It means you are following a set of religious rules in order to please God and achieve the blessings of God.  Jesus purchased our freedom.  He does not want us to go right back under the Old Testament rules and traditions.  Gal 5:1-4 tells us, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.”  Grace is receiving the favor of God freely.  Fallen from grace means going back under the bondage of the law.  You are perfect and worthy to be blessed abundantly because of the cross!  I pray that you freely receive everything Jesus purchased for you and begin to reign in every area of your life!

Prayer 1:  10 Minutes:

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation.  As you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit will give you the perfect words to utter.  It is the perfect prayer and will always be answered!
