Review:  Health and Prosperity God’s Way – Part 2

When you accept Jesus as your savior, you have been redeemed.  But we still live on a fallen earth.  The earth has not been redeemed.  Yet, God has given us the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven so we can enjoy days of heaven on earth.

Sickness and disease came into the earth with a meal in the Garden of Eden.  Jesus has redeemed our health with a meal, the Holy Communion.  1 Corinthians 11:29-30 tells us that many are sick and weak because they don’t understand that Holy Communion is God’s plan for divine health.   We take Holy Communion to proclaim the Lord’s death so we can enjoy Jesus’ life.

We give to the Lord to testify that Jesus is alive.  The Hebrew word for “tithe” means to greatly recognize our Prince.  We don’t give out of a command; we give to honor our Lord.  Hebrews 7:4 says, “Now consider how great this man was (Melchizedek), unto whom even the patriarch Abraham give the tenth of the spoils.”  Abraham was not giving because of the Law.  The Law came hundreds of years later.  Abraham gave because He recognized the greatness of King Melchizedek.  This is a secret to the Kingdom of Heaven.  Whatever you place in Jesus’ hands never decreases.  Whatever is place in Jesus’ hands returns sanctified and multiplied.  This is how we redeem our time, money, etc.  Give Jesus the firstruits of anything natural, and it will return holy and multiplied.

It is our choice whether or not we give it to Him.  When the disciples placed two fish and five loaves in Jesus hands, he blessed the Lord with it and returned it to the disciples who were then able to feed 5,000 men with twelve baskets left over.  God is a good God.  He is not asking you to sacrifice.  He is asking you to trust Him.  Place what you need in His hands.  He will give it back to you so you will have more than enough.  In fact, it will overflow so that you can be a blessing to others.  Praise God!

The Holy Communion proclaims the Lord’s death.  Our giving proclaims that Jesus is alive forever!

Prayer:  10 Minutes:

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation.  The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God.  It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
