Review:  Part 2 – How to Pray Powerful Prayers in the Miracle Working Name of Jesus

Most religious teaching has put up so many obstacles to prayer that most people give up praying.  Prayer in the New Covenant is actually very simple.   Jesus states in John 16:23-24 “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”   Jesus has made everything available to believers simply by asking.  God is a loving Father and is eager to give to His children.  The focus of New Covenant prayer should be on The One we are praying to rather than the one doing the praying.

Matthew 6:8-9 says, “Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”  Our Father knows we have needs on earth, so He tells us to ask.  When we ask, we will receive, so that our joy may be full.  Every Christian can enjoy a fruitful Christian life while on earth.  Romans 4:17 tells us “The kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”  Peace means being complete in every way.  Peace includes prosperity, divine health, divine protection and success.  If any believer is lacking peace in any area, Jesus has instructed us to pray that God’s Kingdom “will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”  When a believer asks, he will receive.

James 1:5 says, ”If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” This verse clearly shows a loving Father that is eager to give.  When any believer lacks wisdom, they can simply ask God for it.  God will give liberally and without reproach, which means God will not find fault with you or your prayer.

Our Father has not made prayer difficult.   Jesus has purchased every blessing for us on the cross.  He has given us the authority to come to the Father in His Name.  If we ask, we shall receive in the New Covenant.  There is no need to struggle, stress and strive.  All we have to do is ask so that we are complete in every way.  God desires to give more than we desire to ask.  Simply ask and you shall receive!  Praise God!

Prayer:  10 Minutes:

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation.  The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God.  It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
