In 3 John 2-3 Paul writes, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth.” Your soul (or mind, will and emotions) prospers as you walk in the truth. Jesus clearly said, “He was the truth” (John 14:6). When you live your life fully conscious that Jesus took all of your sins on the cross and you received His favor and righteousness, you soul prospers. That is walking in the truth.
The Holy Spirit dwells in your spirit. Before it can touch your health, finances, business or career, it has to pass through your soul. Your soul prospers as it feeds on the truth of the gospel. The Holy Spirit flows out and supernaturally changes everything external. If your soul is full of bitterness, fear, worry, etc., it hinders the flow of the Holy Spirit. We need to remind ourselves that we are the “righteousness of Christ.” Sin is not hindering the flow of God. What hinders the flow of God is a guilty conscience. We don’t need to walk in guilt or condemnation because all of our judgment was placed on Jesus. We are free!
Peter was so conscious of the Kingdom of God that dwelled inside him that as he walked by sick people, they were healed. We are creating an army of people that operate in the same power of God. When you constantly walk in the truth of the gospel, everything you touch begins to prosper. The gifts of the Spirit will operate freely. Every room and every business situation you are in are changed by the power of God flowing out of you. The world calls it charisma or the X-factor. We know it is the power of the Spirit flowing out of us. As your soul prospers, you will prosper in all things and remain in health in Jesus mighty name!
Prayer 1: 10 Minutes:
If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God. It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
