Daniel 1:20 says, “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.”
When King Nebuchadnezzar looked at the Hebrew boys, he noticed that they were ten times better than any of his magicians and astrologers. What was their secret? It was the presence of God. The Hebrew boys knew that if God was with them, nothing could be against them. They longed for God’s presence. They knew if God was with them they would be protected, provided for and made victorious in every battle and situation. God would supply everything they needed. God’s presence alone would give them the ability to be the very best in their profession or whatever they put their hand to. God’s presence guaranteed a successful outcome, no matter how bad the situation looked.
Today we have what the Old Covenant people longed for. We have God’s presence 100% of the time. Jesus himself said the Comforter, or Holy Spirit, will never leave us nor forsake us. We can count on the presence of the Holy Spirit to provide all of the wisdom and ability we need. God’s presence guarantees victory, protection and success. Whatever we put our hand to shall prosper. When we remind ourselves daily of God’s never-ending presence and supply of the Holy Spirit, everyone around you will notice the change. Your wisdom will be in demand. People will notice the favor of God on your life. Have a confident expectation that God will raise you to the top of your profession or business. People will find you ten times better in all wisdom and understanding. Not because of your ability, but the awesome ability and anointing of the presence of God!
Prayer 1: 10 Minutes:
If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God. It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
