Review:  Why We Can Always Expect The Best

Hope is defined in the New Testament as the confident expectation of something good.  Romans 5:5 in the New Living Translation tells us, “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”  In other words, when the situation looks hopeless, we are to get our hopes up.  No matter what the situation looks like, we are to expect good things.  We have a loving Father that will turn our situation around for good. When we have hope, we will never be disappointed.  God will always come through.

Apostle Paul goes on to tell us that we can always be hopeful because of God’s love for us.  Romans 5:8-9 explains that God demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus when we were undeserving sinners.  Now that we are righteous through Jesus, how much more should we expect to be blessed in every situation?   If the sin of Adam was powerful enough to make us all sinners, then the perfection of the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, was more than enough to make us all perfect and deserving of God’s favor.

We can start expecting the unexpected to happen in our lives.  If God sent Jesus to us when we didn’t deserve Him, how much more can we expect Him to bless us now that we are Sons and heirs?   Start expecting God to supernaturally bless your business.  Start expecting God to supernaturally heal and restore every area of your life.  You may be thinking, it will take me years to get out of debt, or it will take a miracle to be healed, or there is no way out of this problem I have created.  Get your hopes up.  God can change everything with His supernatural favor in an instant.  God desires to overwhelm you with His goodness.   God desires for you to know that He will always do this for you because of His intense love for you!  Get your hopes up.  Because of Jesus, you can always be sure that God will turn every situation around for you good.  “Hope will not lead to disappointment!”  Praise God!
