Review: How to Release “The Magnificent and Conspicuous Favor” of God
God desires for us to enjoy everything that Jesus accomplished for us on the cross. Luke 12:32 says, “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” On the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6, Jesus tells us that the Father knows what we need before we ask, therefore all we need to do is ask. John 16:23says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Jesus is assuring us that if we ask for anything provided in the kingdom, we will receive so that our joy will be full.
How we bring the provisions of heaven down to earth is through prayer. It could be summed up by saying, “all you need to do is ask.” Yet most teaching on prayer puts all sorts of requirements on the believer in order to pray correctly. The emphasis should be on a loving Father who desires to give us the Kingdom, not on our ability to pray correctly. If one of my children cries out, “Daddy, help!” I’m not going to make sure they prayed correctly in order to help them. I am going to respond to their request immediately. If we understand this being earthly parents, how much more does our Abba Father understand this. When we ask, our Father responds! Prayer is no more complicated than that. Praise God!
God not only assures us that He will answer when we ask, He has also given New Testament believers the ability to pray perfect prayers. Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” When we pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit gives us God’s own words to pray. It shouldn’t be hard to understand that if God does the praying, there will not be any errors, and God will always get what He prayed for. God’s words will never return void.
If we pray in our understanding, I truly believe we often limit God. Ephesians 3:20 states that God is able to do “exceeding abundantly beyond what we ask or think.” If we allow the Spirit to pray through us by praying in tongues, we do not limit God. When the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost in Acts 2, the disciples all began to speak in other tongues. Acts 2:11says,“…we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” Strong’s Concordance translates the “wonderful works of God” as the “grand, magnificent, splendid, and conspicuous favor of God.” In other words, when we pray in tongues, we are proclaiming the magnificent and conspicuous favor of God over our lives. You don’t need to handle problems in your own strength. Let the Holy Spirit pray though you by praying in the Spirit. You will see God’s magnificent and conspicuous favor in your health, finances, businesses and careers. Praise God!

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God. It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
