Review:  Free from Guilt and Condemnation

2 Cor 3:6 says the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.  Verses 7-9 tells us the Old Covenant of the Law brings death and condemnation.  The New Covenant is a ministry of righteousness and brings life.  The law was given on Mt Sinai and 3000 people died.  The Spirit was given on Mt Zion and 3000 people were given a new life in Christ.  When you look at the law, it makes you feel dirty and unclean.  The law makes you aware of your sin and brings condemnation.  The enemy uses the law against believers.  The accuser constantly says, “you aren’t good enough” and constantly reminds you of your faults.  But the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and advocate convicting us of our righteousness in Christ Jesus.

John 1:29 says, “John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.’”  Jesus took our sin away on the cross.  The minute you were born again, your sins were taken away.  Many Christians are trying to “become” what they have already obtained in Christ Jesus.  Scripture says you are the righteousness of Christ.  You have been perfected forever.  All of the promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.  There is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus.  The enemy will try and convince you there is more for you to do.  Praise God it is all about what Jesus already did!

You are free from all of the ordinances of the law.  It is not sin that is causing lack, perversions, depression and every kind of guilt and condemnation in people.  Sin was dealt with once and for all on the cross.  God is a just God.  He is not going to punish and judge us for our sins since Jesus already paid the price for them.  What causes lack, sickness, guilt and condemnation is sin-consciousness.  The accuser constantly tries to remind you of your sins and shortcomings.  But you need to realize even in your shortcomings that you are the righteousness of Christ!  You have been perfected forever.  God is not judging you.  You can go freely to the throne of grace at any time and receive mercy and grace when you need it!  The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death!

Prayer 1:  10 Minutes:

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation.  As you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit will give you the perfect words to utter.  It is the perfect prayer and will always be answered!
