Review: Meditate for Success, Prosperity and Health – Part 2

3 John 2 tells us, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Health and Godly prosperity comes to us as we prosper our soul. All change comes from within. As you prosper internally, your health and success will manifest externally. As we discussed last week, every time the Bible talks about “meditate” – success, prosperity, profit and health are the results.
Jesus told us the Word of God is like a seed. If you meditate on the Word, it gets planted in your heart. It will produce a thirty, sixty and hundredfold harvest on its own. As you meditate on the Word of God, your soul or the “internal you” begins to prosper. God designed meditation as our way to divine health and success.

The story of Isaac in Genesis 26 is a picture of meditation. There was a famine in the land and Isaac was about to go to Egypt. But the Lord told Isaac to stay in the land of Gerar, and Isaac would be blessed. Gerar literally means the land of “chewing the cud, or ruminating.” So God told Isaac just stay in “land of meditation” and you will be blessed and will experience the promises of God.
Genesis 26:12-14 says, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.” Isaac sowed seed in the land of Gerar. He began to prosper (thirtyfold), continued prospering (sixtyfold) and became very prosperous (hundredfold.)

If you desire a harvest of success and health, meditate on the promises of God. It is like planting seeds. We don’t know how the seed works, but you always get a harvest. Don’t get discouraged by external situations. God designed us to feed on Jesus, which is the Word of God. It doesn’t matter if there is a famine. The Word of God planted in your heart will produce supernatural results. You will prosper, continue to prosper, and become very prosperous!

Prayer: 10 Minutes:

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God. It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
