Review: Receive Your Miracle
Romans 10:9 tells us, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” This verse explains how we receive things in the New Testament. When we believe in our heart and speak, we will be saved. The Greek word for saved is “sozo.” It means much more than just getting to heaven. It means to heal, preserve, prosper and make whole. It is also in the passive tense in this verse. Passive means the action of the verb is happening to us. We are not accomplishing the salvation; the Holy Spirit is the one doing the work and making us whole.
Romans 8:32 says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” If we freely received the greatest gift of new birth by simply believing and speaking, every lesser thing in the Kingdom of God will be received the same way. Jesus proclaimed, “it is finished” on the cross. God has provided everything we need because of Jesus. If we didn’t work for our salvation, we certainly don’t need to work for the other promises of God. It is not our “doing” in the New Covenant to receive the blessings of God. It is our believing and speaking.
God is a good God and takes pleasure and providing everything we will ever need. Jesus told us to guard our heart with all diligence. In other words, we need to plant the Word of God in our heart, and not fill our heart with things like lack, sickness, destruction, etc. Here is an example. Let’s say it appears someone is experiencing financial lack. Instead of focusing on the lack, God wants us to plant scriptures like “my God shall supply all my needs. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” If God sent His Son when we were still enemies of God, He will certainly provide for us now that we have the righteousness of Christ. When we plant those scriptures in our heart and speak them, the Holy Spirit goes to work to bring about the harvest. In order to receive your miracle and everything else in the Kingdom of God, we simply believe and speak. What an awesome position of rest!

If there is any situation in your life that needs prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you for that situation. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God. It is the perfect prayer and is always answered!
